19th day. First CMRA race weekend of 2008 and I'm racing! We did the 4hr Mini race on Saturday and then I raced in 3 sprint races on Sunday. The Mini race went ok at best. I started the race and lost the shifter in my 3rd lap but we had that back together in no time. What hurt was when Ryan crashed the bike late in hr number 2. WE got the bike back together and I finished the race 17th. This was after we stated 30th. Not great but not bad and I ran a best time of 1:47. I also had trouble with the sprints but this time it was tires. I was trying a new Dunlop tire but I didn't notice that it was rubbing my chain and this caused me to lose grip all over the place. I didn't notice it until after my 2nd race which let me run a decent time on my 3rd....a 1:37. Now we are off to Cresson. Race count is now at 8.
